Refunds & Other Terms and Conditions
Our prints are produced by professional print house Print2Metal accordingly their terms and conditions apply (where applicable).
Please ensure that your packaging and the metal print inside is in good order before signing to accept delivery. If there is any damage to the box, your print could also be damaged so please open and check your print before signing for it. Please do not sign for the goods if there is any damage to your print. Subject to applicable Australian consumer law, including but not limited to the Australian Consumer Law as set out in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, the following purchase, return and exchange conditions apply to the provision of our products and services:
1.2 You acknowledge our products may differ from the conceptual representations featured on the websites.
1.3 You agree the Goods will be stored and used in a proper manner and in accordance with these terms and conditions. Skins Art Gallery will not be responsible in any way whatsoever for damages or any claims arising from improper use or breach of the terms and conditions to the maximum extent permitted under law.
1.4 You agree to inspect any Goods as soon as possible and within ten (10) days of delivery and to notify Skins Art gallery of any alleged defect, shortage in quantity, damage or failure to comply with the described service quoted or stated by Skins Art Gallery.
1.5 You agree to afford Skins Art Gallery the opportunity to inspect the Goods within ten (10) days or reasonable time after notifying of any alleged fault or damage. Skins Art Gallery will assess the claim in a reasonable timeframe. If you shall fail to comply with the notification provisions, the Goods / services shall be conclusively presumed to be in accordance with the terms and conditions and free from any defect or damage.
1.6 Skins Art Gallery may facilitate return delivery of any alleged defective or damaged goods to conduct an assessment. Where it is practical to do so, you may facilitate return delivery to Skins Art Gallery via a pre-approved means or by mutual agreement.
1.7 Where you facilitate return delivery of goods Skins Art Gallery will endeavour to provide guidance however you will be responsible for carriage including insuring against any loss or damage of the goods in transit. Skins Art gallery will not be responsible for any loss or damages arising from improper handing or carriage methods.
1.8 All goods returned must be packed appropriately for carriage, delivered in the condition in which they were received and with all protective and packaging material, brochures and instruction material in as new condition as is reasonably possible in the circumstances.
1.10 Where a defect has been identified Skins Art Gallery may offer compensation by way of a replacement item, in store credit or gift voucher to be applied to a future purchase.
1.11 Where Skins Art Gallery identifies a major or irreparable defect the customer may be entitled to a full refund.
1.12 Where a defect is confirmed by Skins Art Gallery the return delivery charges incurred by you will be reimbursed upon request.
4.9.14 In the event Skins Art gallery determines your defect or damages claim to be false or invalid due to a breach of these terms, we reserve all rights and advise you may be directed to reimburse Skins Art gallery for any freight charges and or any other reasonable expenses incurred in processing your claim.
4.9.15 Couriers and freight services are charged at the current commercial rates.
4.9.17 Once you have placed an order with us, we are unable to offer a refund for change of mind.
4.9.18 Proof of purchase should be kept in case a dispute arises
